全台 22 個縣市都辦科展，規則大同小異，但日期各不相同。這份指南整理晉級路線、各縣市時程、逐月準備方法，以及科展以外國小生也能參加的科學競賽。All 22 cities and counties in Taiwan run a science fair. Rules are similar but dates differ. This guide covers how projects advance, local schedules, a month-by-month plan, and other competitions open to elementary students.
縣市科展就是「中華民國中小學科學展覽會」的縣市階段，不是另一個比賽。想進全國，一定要先從學校、再從縣市一路晉級。Each city fair is the local stage of the national Primary and Secondary School Science Fair. Every national entry starts at school and passes through its city or county.
縣市科展多半在寒假後馬上收件，所以作品必須在寒假結束前大致完成。以下是兩個例子，其他縣市請以當年度公告為準。Most city fairs take entries right after winter break, so projects need to be nearly finished by then. Two examples below; check your city's announcement each year.

家長第一件事First step for parents開學後先問學校：校內科展什麼時候收件、誰當指導老師、學校每年推薦幾件到縣市。這三個答案決定你的時程。Ask the school early: when the school fair closes, who can advise, and how many projects the school sends to the city fair.
這些比賽各自獨立報名，不必經過學校科展晉級。適合想多一個舞台，或擅長表達、動手做、寫程式的孩子。Each has its own entry process, independent of the fair system.

我們是全國性協會，匯集全國頂尖的研究人員與教育工作者。我們把最新的科學知識轉化成大家聽得懂、做得到的內容：從親子科學影片、動手做的實驗活動，到科展與科學競賽的陪伴，讓科學走進日常生活；同時引介國外的科學教育與國際賽事，讓台灣的孩子和家長看見更大的世界。NewSci Taiwan is the public science program of 中華科學新知推廣協會, a national association that brings together leading researchers and educators in Taiwan. We turn new science into content people can understand and try themselves, from family science videos and hands-on events to science fair coaching, and we bring international science education closer to Taiwanese families.
We are looking for international science-education organizations whose courses, kits or competitions could reach elementary students in Taiwan. We handle localization, families and on-the-ground delivery, backed by members from Academia Sinica, Taiwan's universities and schools.
We license your curriculum or competition format and run it in Taiwan under your standards, with reporting back to you.
We translate and adapt materials into Traditional Chinese and align them with Taiwan's grade 3–6 science curriculum.
